Songs that describe the present day -- March 31, 2026

One of my favorite Black Sabbath songs, it was literally the first song I fell in love with, with my first stereo.
I used to blast Black Sabbath and Nazareth. I had a little 1974 Dodge Colt with a 4-speaker Craig stereo system (cassette player). It's probably why I have tinnitus today.

I still blast Black Sabbath. Believe me, you have never really heard Sabbath yet until you've heard it with a 3,000 watt stereo with essentially unlimited headroom and bass the extends an octave below hearing flat down to about 12 Hertz.

Add to that, War Pigs has some great stereo effects in the guitar and war sounds and in the early 70's when you were not used to hearing stereo, was really dramatic.

Top songs of all time: I think most rockers would agree.

1) Watching Scotty Grow - Bobby Goldsboro
2) Fun and Games - Bobby Sherman
3) Abra-Ca-Dabra - The Defranco Family, featuring Tony Defranco
4) Come Back When You Grow Up - Bobby Vee and the Strangers
5) Go Away Little Girl - Donny Osmond
6) Sugar Sugar - The Archies
