There is a Palestinian State; it is called Jordan. There is no Palestinian ethnicity, any more than there is an Appalachian ethnicity in the U.S. They are just 'generic" Arabs who in recent times have lived in a certain region.

The Palestinian "state" in the Holy Land is nothing more than a military force whose objective is to carry the Flag for the entire Muslim world in its campaign to eradicate the Jewish State. No contemporary "Palestinian" can even countenance living in a Palestinian "state" peacefully alongside a Jewish State.

There is a total disconnect between "rational Israelis and westerners," on the one hand, and "Palestinians," on the other. The former think that the issue is territory; the latter know that the issue is the abomination of a Jewish State, which can never be tolerated.

And we wonder why they cannot come to a negotiated ceasefire/resolution.
