MIAMI — Republicans have closed the traditional voter registration gap with Democrats to an historically small margin in Florida, triggering a wave of Democratic apprehension in the nation’s biggest swing state.

Top Florida Democrats and longtime activists have increasingly groused in private that they feel pressure from Joe Biden’s campaign to refrain from door-to-door canvassing or holding voter registration drives due to the potential spread of the coronavirus and fears of muddying his messaging on the pandemic.

In the absence of such efforts, a concerted drive by President Donald Trump’s Florida campaign to register voters has helped cut the state’s long-standing Democratic advantage to fewer than 185,000 voters, a gap of just 1.3 percentage points, according to data from the Florida Division of Elections released this week.

Wisconsin and Minnesota are in the same boat... Republicans are signing up hundreds of thousands of voters... And they are voting IN PERSON... SO their votes will count..

How about the "Ice Cream truck" technique? What a difference a Constitution makes. Insist right wingers abolish their socialist, nanny-State and alleged wars on crime, drugs, and terror. That money should be going towards the general welfare not the general warfare with no end in sight!

In right wing fantasy, you are Always right.

All the right wing knows how to do is crony up to the Richest.

Not even a (holy) Bible can convince the Right Wing to be more moral towards the Poor.

WASHINGTON - Billionaires kept getting richer as the rest of America struggled through multiple crises over the past five months: combined billionaire wealth has grown by $792 billion, or 27%, since the rough start of the coronavirus lockdown on March 18. But even as the wealthiest few see their fortunes multiply amid disease and recession, fellow billionaire Donald Trump wants to cut their capital gains taxes again after having already handed out huge tax cuts for the wealthy with his 2017 tax law.

Again, how much of my hard earned money are you entitled to? I ask you this and you keep running away.

Employment is at-will. Why are you complaining. Nobody is making you a wage-slave in an at-will employment State.

We have a Commerce Clause and subscribe to market based economics. What is the most convenient way to accomplish the goal while enabling you to make more money?

Unemployment compensation for simply being unemployed is an automatic stabilizer for our economy that generates a positive multiplier as well. There is no theoretical upper limit to markets. Full employment of capital resources under our form of Capitalism means more persons circulating more capital and creating Demand and generating more Tax revenue.

You’re not answering my question. How much of my hard earned money are you entitled to? Danny, you may quote economic theory all day but you cannot answer a simple question. Pretty sad.
