So, as of this writing, the GOP has won Virginia, and is very, very close, in New Jersey. We are all cheering, yay team! But we really need to look at the recent past to help project our future, while insuring that we are SMART enough, not to see what MIGHT have happened.
Now, let us 1st congratulate Mr Youngkin, but let us NOT concentrate on that state for this exercise in logic, because we can project why he won easily; not that his victory was easy, but that the issues he put forth were logical. So, for the sake of debate on what I am going to bring up, for the time being, remove Virginia from your thinking..........all the while being happy as heck he pulled it off, and concentrate elsewhere.
Have you seen New Jersey? (of course you did) Have you seen the ballot initiatives put forward in most all of these blue states that were beaten back? Have you heard how CNN, MSNBC, and the Left has explained this all away as white supremacy, racism, bad candidates, etc. I know after reading that last sentence, all you GOPers or at the very least, Conservatives are screaming! What if I was to suggest to all of you that their whole shtick is really a red herring to misdirect you!

In politics, 9 days is a very, very long time. 9 months is an eternity. And yet, we are all thinking individuals. How do areas that are plus 9, 10, or 12 democratic, now become so close where someone in the GOP can actually compete, and compete very well, and in fact in many instances, win? The key factoid here is............plus 9, 10, or 12 Democratic! Same with ballot initiatives in those areas that obviously pander to what Democrats supposedly think. These initiatives were shot down all over the place, including Minnesota by a lot.
What IF, this change was NOT now, but rather before the Presidential election as the polls suggest they were? What IF the Left was so now under scrutiny with the elections, MANIPULATION was NOT a viable alternative to losing, as they would be exposed?
Tin Hat? Maybe, but such swings in base support is kind of not likely. How many Leftists USMB posters have you seen post anything that resembled, I HAVE CHANGED SIDES? 99% of them are all tride and blue.
While we should NOT put our eggs in this basket for 22 or 24, our GOP politicians should keep not only sniffing, but sniffing harder. Something doesn't add up here, especially when you kick out the Virginia vote. We are being misdirected by the media and Leftists why they lost, instead of maybe the SUPPORT WAS NEVER THERE since before LAST Novembers election.
Full disclosure; I am a Conservative, I liked Trump policies, and while I can't prove it, I have a feeling some kind of shenanigans went on, but I refuse to accuse the Left of something I have no proof of. But, like a dog with a bone, I will wait to see if anyone can find the proof, because by normal statistics, if this CURRENT election was on the up and up, the odds the last election 9 months ago was so opposite, goes against the odds of mathematics. And it all isn't about Trump. It is about what was the down ballot races too!
I believe the Left is going to lose 60% or MORE of their gains in 2022. If someone, ANYONE, shows that something was amiss in 2020, the Left.......especially far Leftists, will be wiped off of our political landscape. If you are industrious, figure it out if there is a story to tell. Not only will a Pullitzer be waiting for you, but it appears that more then 1/2 the American public will elevate you higher than Bernstein and his crony helper, which will set you on easy street for life! So figure it out, and hurry-)
