Here’s a clip of a spokesmoron for Mayor Mamdani (seems to have been recorded prior to that imbecile getting inaugurated).



My question is obvious: is this even possibly real? If so, NYC may as well just give up, now. It’s over. They’re totally fucked.

OTOH: if it was just a spoof, kudos to the creators. It is so insane — it seems real.

Quick follow-up: an AI inquiry seems to confirm that the “assemblyman” never existed. It does appear to be a spoof.

I find it sadly amusing that that City is so unhinged, now, that it almost could have been real.
