The sun is gas, assuming the core is dense, the gas would have a higher boiling point in the core. I almost want to believe that the core is hallow like in a hurricane, and the gas spinning around the hallow is much faster than the surface or the poles, gas isn't locked in formation like a solid rocky planet, so the core material could be spinning much faster. Density towards the core and heat from fast movement, probably binds two hydrogen into helium, less having to do with the atoms smashing together, and more to do with a melting point like variable so the nuclei weld together, the two cores form one, the two hydrogen take on the balloon shape leaning in on the new center, release heat from their cores because of surface tension of the balloon shape. The release of energy may or may not balance with gravity.

Did the forum title confuse you again ... this is the Environment forum ... Science Fiction is down the hall three doors on your left ... maybe you should learn what a gas is before you accuse our poor lil' abused Sun ... sheesh ... she warms the Earth and you pick on her, I hope your feet stink now ...

gas under pressure may raise its boiling point but I think the temperatures in the sun are going to probably exceed that point, meaning the gas stays a gas, doesn't become liquid like under pressure. Could be a difference between stars and gas Giants that explains their rotation speed difference.

gas may not create a pressure on its core since the two are not physically connected like rocky planets. gas atoms are free to spin but may act collectively to spin a cloud like sun structure. The gas is heated by fusion and it spins even faster, so instead of the fusion force pushing out against gravity, the heat from fusion just makes the gas spin faster.

sometimes...........sometimes I bet you are right, but you use this to make yourself sound right all the time. And you also will say that defining words is too important. so you're not going to..........accommodate my asking you to help........aww nevermind I bet you're to busy.......saving whales or something crazy knowing you

Not my job to do your homework ... try educating yourself:

Are you anti-learning? ... states-of-matter is covered in 4th grade science class ... I know you're a young child, but really? ...
Different states are distinguished by the ways the component particles (atoms, molecules, ions and electrons) are arranged, and how they behave collectively.
can you explain more how the electron isn't just your belief, but a fact stated here in your encyclopedia entry?
