A pair of Elvis Presley's unwashed underpants are to be auctioned. He wore them during one of his on-stage performances and they are complete with stains. His song 'stuck on you' comes to mind.

A pair of Elvis Presley's underpants are expected to reach up to £10,000 when they are sold at auction.

Unwashed and still soiled with stains, the pants were worn beneath one of Presley's famous white jumpsuits during a performance in 1977.

The light blue briefs will go under the hammer at an auction of Elvis Presley pop memorabilia in Stockport, Greater Manchester, next month.

We were once approached in a souq by a Bahrainian woman who was pushing a shopping cart full of ladies underwear.

"SEXcuse me", she said. "Would you like to buy some ladies underwear?"

This gobsmacked us since we had been briefed (no pun intended) about the harsh Islamic customs of the area. But here we were, confronted by a woman in tight jeans gyrating her hips in a public shopping area, giving us the full sexual come-on.

"Five dollars for new, ten dollars for used," she smirked.

We busted out laughing.
