In a true capitalist society (not this Keynesian/socialist crap), businesses would be allowed to fail. Without the safety net, I'm sure their decisions on risky investments would be different.

It is just not risky investments. When 911 occurred, many businesses were bailed out. When Capitalist competition becomes to fierce & starts forcing corporations into bankruptcy, socialist mechanisms have to be used to save them, such as price setting. ie. Dairy farmers.

Instead of capitalist subsidies, you use price setting so avacados are in the same range of prices where ever you go to buy them. Walmart hit a stone wall in Germany when they attempted to undersell their competitors. The german government prevented that from occurring, and by doing so the little business of the community still exist.

If Germany wants to set prices, good for them. What a capitalist society requires is educated and active consumers. It requires consumers to make a decision to do business with a company based on more than just price. Maybe Americans can't handle that? That's a different topic.

But back to the question: when you have your complete socialist society of receivers, how's it gonna survive without the capitalists making the money for you to hand out?

No different. The capitalist bums have worked and paid taxes, so if they need a socialist safety net due to failed capitalism, it will be there for them.

The taxes of corporations are paid for by those same capitalist bums when they buy their products, so subsidies are tax free bonuses given to a few, while refusing to help other businesses that lack influence & lobbyists.

Where are all of these subsidies and goodies that you speak of? None of my companies have ever received any.

Who said only capitalists make money to hand out? Socialist Germany, as a model, clearly shows a country of socialists handing out money to reap in benefits, far more benefits than a capitalist enjoys for his labor. Unified workers like Unions hand out money as well.
