Between their silly, shallow, binary definition of "socialism" and their blind support for what has become of capitalism, the Trumpsters have been their own worst enemies.

If the socialists win, they'll be able to thank the arrogant, ignorant Right.
My support for capitalism isn't blind. I understand the advantages and drawbacks far better than you.

Socialism has failed every time it has been tried.

You don't like the definition of socialism because it makes your imbecile agenda obvious.
Perfect. Right on cue.

Ol' Mac never has to name names.
I'm right on cue point out facts? Yep, you can count on it.
Sure, if that's what you think I mean.
Explain what you meant. I'm certain that you're afraid to.
I already did, in the very first post of mine that you quoted.

You folks are so terrible at advocating for (what you think is) capitalism that you've politely opened the door for the socialists.

I can tell you for a fact that they appreciate it.

That's a function of your own ignorance and arrogance.
Sorry, turd, but I know what capitalism is. I don't need to be lectured by some douchebag socialist about the definition of capitalism.

What I know for ceertain is that you have no clue about what capitalism is. You certainly have been lying about it for your entire career on this forum.

Talk about ignorance and arrogance.

If and when they're in power, I will, and I have.
Its a little late then

they will ignore you because fence sitters have no gravitas
They do have an awfully lofty opinion of themselves, though.....Even though both Jesse Ventura and Trump both proved that it's more effective to sway those who've been sitting on the sidelines to turn out.

If the so-called "fence sitters" have no gravitas, why do both parties worry about them so much?
I cant speak for the repub swamp rats in DC

they jump at shadows

but I just find the nagging fence sitters annoying
Of course you do. You prefer blind loyalists. Who wouldn't?

No one can reach fence sitters in the Mac1958 mold

they want to support losing candidates so they can always complain and never have to take responsibility

The fact that you think I'm a socialist illustrates my point, and why I no longer bother with Trumpsters on this topic.

Trying to reach snobs who really think that they're better than everyone else is a loser's game.

You keep using that term. On what issues am I a fence sitter?

You must have multiple examples. Go ahead.

The fact that you believe you aren't a socialist is why you've earned my ridicule. You don't debate "Trumpsters" because you always get your ass kicked.

Young people are not happy with the unequal world they’ve inherited. Millennials are embracing Socialism because unfettered capitalism failed them. Many grew up in cars or tenement slums during the great recession when GW Bush's call for "deregulation" allowed financial institutions to peddle toxic mortgage packages to anyone with a pulse, and ratings institutions such as Standard and Poor's looked the other way. As the economy crashed, and things got worse, the right wing refused to agree lend even a small a hand to the many who suffered needlessly, while the few at the top became wealthier still.

Young people, along with women and minorities watched as the economy slowly healed over the next 8 years with President Obama at the helm, and witnessed 30 million Americans who previously had little or no healthcare benefits could now see a doctor without medical bankruptcy in the back of their minds. The right wing screamed SOCIALISM! of course, but they didn't care - They now had medical coverage. They also watched Donald Trump do everything in his power to strip them and their families of that protection, while offering nothing to replace it with except - "Go see your insurance man"

Sorry Republicans - Socialism doesn't scare them anymore... :bye1:

No, it's because young people have been indoctrinated and don't even know what socialism is.....

I still don't get the logic behind shaming "fence sitters". If we were all "fence sitters" we'd have a lot better government.

If it's that important to you, all you have to do is ask, instead of making ignorant assumptions.

My positions on the issues are clearly laid out in the link at the end of the second line of my sig. My position on immigration and trade - one you won't find anywhere else - is in the link in the fourth line of my sig. I could not possibly be more clear or forthcoming.

So. I'm still waiting.

I think the issue is, what are you not seeing?
Do you like socialism?
Do you like riots?
Do you like babies being killed after birth?
Do you like a media that clearly lies to people? Mostly Peaceful....are you fucking serious?
Do you like Critical Race Theory being taught in school and Gov?
Do you like people being attacked for dining out or living in a neighborhood?

The problem is people see this stuff and how can you defend this shit?

Bush allowed finanicial institutions to peddle toxic mortgage packages....hun that is a carter clinton dem with rino thing. The housing bubble was the result of CRA from Dems dodd frank carter and clinton------------

baby bush actually warned of the impending doom when he first took office. The dems basically made it illegal for banks to refuse DEADBEAT loans..........and then rewarded them for giving them out.

If we all stayed home, how could they claim to have the consent of the governed?
I'm not really referring to staying home. But blind loyalty to a party or leader is simply giving up. It's telling them "Go ahead. Do whatever you want. I'm your huckleberry".
