I have a proposition:
No social workers should be employed by government, local or national, rather they should be self employed, much as solicitors.
They would have to wait for clients to contact them, with no government contracts allowed.
That way, if someone feels they need a social worker, they can pay for one themselves, removing a great burden from the taxpayer.
Do you agree?
