Does anyone here watch them? I just now saw that Anthony Geary of General Hospital fame has passed away. He was 78. Go here for his write up. I don't watch the shows anymore, but I would be lying if I said that I wasn't familiar with them.

God bless you and the Geary family always!!!

No but I used to watch them with my grandmother. The Edge of Night.

Today I watch big time wrestling and when people say "you know it's fake right?" I say yes so are soap operas. Still it's the best thing on tv. The acrobatics, sex appeal, comedy, drama, plot twists, and wrestling is an ongoing saga. Never ending plot just like soap operas.

Any reason why you don't watch wrestling? You will love it. You just got to get to know who the characters are. Give wresting a shot.

I should start watching soap operas now that I have DVR. I know I would get hooked. And I won't have to tune in every day at 1, 2 or 3pm because it's taped. I can watch them whenever I want. AND, I could not watch for a few weeks and binge watch them.

Do you DVR or tune in every day at a certain time?

No, God bless you always.

^^^ I don't watch them anymore, but when I read about Anthony, I thought that his passing deserved an acknowledgement here.

God bless you and his family always!!!

P.S. The Young And The Restless was my show, but I haven't watched it since 2008.

The only soap opera I've every watched was the original Twin Peaks series.

Outstanding show.
