With all this broohahah about a class 2 hurricane, when it was a class 4 and hit the keys some goats used to eat the grass at the Naval Air Station were exposed tot he storm.

Anyone know if they survived or not?

I cant find anything.

I only saw reports that Ernest Hemingway's 54 six toed cats made it with their caretaker.

Funny, the muslims are being quiet down there too.

Goats are cute. poor goats.
And these goats eat grass that is kind of toxic and so it cannot be mowed.

They have short life spans doing this thankless job, but they should not be abandoned to a hurricane!

I've been reading about various zoos and sanctuaries on a private exotic animal forum I'm on. Many died for lack of someone to haul them out of the way.

OTOH, the photos of flamingos in the ladies room are priceless. Its on HuffPo too. Really worth the look.

Someone or something is surely eating those goats by now.
