Libya forces tasked with protecting the facility failed. Protesters were climbing over walls at other Embassies and it was obvious Americans at other facilities were in danger when and if these demonstrations got out of control and the host countries did not live up to their obligations to protect the facilities.
Putting the cause on the backs of the demonstrators until more specifics were obtained was the wise and proper strategy to send to the Muslim host governments tasked with protecting our people. Protect our people.
