I just checked Amazon. It was $651 for 64 GB.

I haven't really been paying attention, but that seems a bit extreme.

non RGB and I would not pay 300 extra for a disco in my case, that is just silly

Right.

I'd never pay more than 50 per stick of 32.
it's going to be awhile, 8 month ago or so I updated from 8-16 and paid about 50 and that was considered cheap

30 something tabs still only using 88%, 32 for me would be too much ram sitting idle

You don't need 64GB
nope, many modern PC games do just fine with 16GB
many fail that you can free up RAM if you shut down your browser with 30 tabs

Have you tried Ebay? The few times I've added components to my pc, I got the parts off of Ebay, and they were good parts that lasted a long time.

There's ALWAYS cheaper ways to get what you want.......you just have to do a LOT of price research.

A lot of times, if you know a specific stores trade days, sales days, clearance days, or "its gotta go now" sales days..............you can plan your purchase ahead of time. Sometimes, if you are REALLY nice to the employees, they will give you a heads up on the next big sale coming your way.

The week of and the week after July 4th is best for appliances and electronics of all kinds.
September is also a really good time for cheap sales for electronics because schools starting back up.
February thru April are great times to watch for super discount sales and clearance sales because of "end of the year" products getting cleared out for the summer season.

ebay is the worst, people inflate the price even more to offset the 15% fee, I know I have sold on ebay when it was 10% and that was bad enough

not with high demand items it's not and I don't trust some dude selling used computer gear on ebay

sorry but they don't clearance out RAM......lol

yes newegg and other's run sales but they WON'T on a high demand low supply item if they can even get it

they are not dumb

trust me, 25 years of building computers I have resources and they not budging on high demand items at all

You gotta find the "small guy" with his start up shop or business.
They usually sell cheaper and usually will haggle with you if you buy several items.

Yeah, it's been a few years since I bought pc parts off Ebay. I know they've fallen into the price gouging market like everybody else.
I rarely use them anymore myself.

sorry but if you are sitting on gold you don't sell it for silver prices or they are not very smart
no computer shop who reads the news is going to undersell any GPU or RAM right now, they are going
to charge a massive premium during this window of a major shortage
