‘On Friday, NBC News found that Mexico refused a U.S. military plane access to its airspace when flying migrants to Guatemala. And as American Immigration Council senior fellow Aaron Reichlin-Melnick noted, another Central American country appears to have also not allowed the United States to fly over its airspace, given the flight's unusually circuitous route.

"This deportation flight had to go all the way around the Yucatan first, and then it went through Costa Rica, suggesting Honduras may also have denied permission," Reichlin-Melnick posted to Bluesky. He observed that countries declining to accommodate the U.S. by granting it access to its airspace could be a result of them perceiving his use of military C-130 planes "as an insult."

As Virginia Commonwealth University associate political science professor Michael Paarlberg wrote on Bluesky, carrying out deportations requires both the country deporting migrants and the country accepting them to coordinate. And as the Washington Post reported in December, countries refusing to cooperate with Trump could throw a wrench in the gears of his mass deportation plans.’

More ham-fisted political theater, a display of true incompetence, and a waste of tax dollars.

Your conclusion is typical Left-wing nutter claptrap!

Mexico and other Latin American nations allowed -aided and abetted- illegals to transit their borders and inland to come to the USA to enter illegally.
BTW, just who is paying the transport and feeding of these "migrants" that travel hundreds to thousands of miles to illegally enter the USA ??? !!!

Quid pro quo will mean;

1. Cut off all aid and U$A Dollar$ going to them ( a real waste of tax dollar$).
2. Hit them with about 50% tariffs.
3. Cut off any USA exports to them.
4. Haul their illegals to the nearest coastal beach and turn them lose in rubber dingies.*

* Alternative would be resettle them on uninhabited islands within the Arctic Circle.

Already debunked. Mexico is allowing flights for the return of Mexican citizens.

I heard that there was a country that refused to grant permission for one of these flights to land, and then subsequently heard after the news story that the flight allegedly "never took off".

They don't even bother to try to make their lies believable.

Like there is no crisis at the border

comes from talking too much

the military does things in a sneaky way and uses code words, but Trump tells everything out loud, online, to the media... and that Musk dude talks and gestures way too much as well; like a rotten apple and a rotten lemon easy to smell them before they get close

Trump should tell them to cooperate or get the Soleimani treatment.

maybe we should cut of Western Union remittances then. These Fucks, are receiving billions of US dollars each year. Why do we allow these wires to go through to boost the economies and lives of these people huh?

No honestly. Its fine that families want to support each other I get it. But these politicians in Mexico and whatever central American country that is..are a bunch of bitches. We also have a 130 Billion trade deficit with Mexico yeah? Perhaps they would prefer to have North Korea as their Northern neighbor?
We are the best thing they ever had... we take the fucking pressure of those lame ass and oppressive governments so that they are not overthrown by internal uprising....and we get that kind of back from them?

Doesnt surprise me though that you would agree with that sort of crap.

Trump is a constant Showman, he knows how to work a crowd.with tall tales.and promises. That said,he will find a way to deport tens of.thousands,.maybe a.million or more since he firmly and rightlfully believes in the necessity of it. He wll.have many successes, his cabinet will be more hand picked and outside the Establishment than last time but truth be told, I get the feeling Trump may just be more of a salesman than one who actually executes his promises he made on the campaign trail. His first term he kept his promises as best he could against an adversarial government, even on the GOP side.and this really lead to a high degree of trust from the voter in 2024. This time with the Tech Bros on his side and less media confrontation, he may just be happy doing rallies and letting people feel good but not questioning any failure to inact policies he promised on the campaign trail. In essense, he is.slowly becoming an Establisment politician He needs to desperately cut spending and may succeed to some degree but DOGE does seem to be in disarray, he isn't going to hit China with tariffs even after screaming it at every rally. We all hope he succeeds and Rubio is a critical ally who will hopefully and faithfully push Trumps agenda to tackle.Chinas influence as Rubio is a patriot and true communist hawk, but all.of these proclamations about Greenland and Canada for instance are just being used primarily to keep peoples eyes on a shiny object. That's my.early assessment anyways but Trump.is an unpredictable engima and quite shifty, so, it's difficult to know lol. Of all his promises though, he apply all the influence he can to make sure the deportation promse is upheld, don't doubt him on that policy promise, regardless of any interference by Mexican.leadership.

I said the same about remitttance. Just the threat of a 30% tariff and 50 tax on remittance to Mexico would have a major effect on Meixcan government decisions. It would also potentially highlight their collussion with certain unsavoury members who snuck into the U.S

There are many ways trump can twist their arm and force Mexico to comply
