Years ago the government decided to outlaw so-called "freak shows" because it was thought that they were demeaning to the "freaks" who were making a good living from them at the time. Who in their right mind today would willingly subject themselves to commercial freak shows designed to portray them as callus abusers of tobacco who brought cancer on themselves? My guess is the federal government promised them lavish medical care if they subjected themselves to the government freak show.

"Freak Shows" aren't "outlawed".
