In a blatant attempt to whitewash history, The Smithsonian has removed references to Trumps two impeachments from its Presidential impeachments display.

Joe Walsh, a former GOP Congressman and Trump critic called the report "Despicable. Reprehensible. Dishonest. Cowardly."

Trump's 2 impeachments are historical facts," he continued. "They are both part of American history. He's using the powers of his office to try to rewrite history. I'm done saying 'shame on him.' Shame on us for electing him."

"The museum removed references to Trump's two impeachments from a part of the museum, according to the Washington Post, citing an anonymous source which Newsweek did not verify. "

This is what to expect in Trump’s post truth America.

The regime makes all decisions on matters such as this.

It's final!

Even the museum conceded the content was removed

The problem is not that it was removed, but why it was there in the first place.
In better detailed story, the Institute put Trump's impeachment in a prominent place in a display that had not been updated for 17 years. Again - a 17 year old display. Not one thing had been updated, but yet - someone put up in clear view, prominently about Trump's impeachment.

IT NEVER SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE.

I wouldn't get your panties in a bunch over it. I have no doubt it will be put back in after he leaves office.

On top of all that, state run museums aren't much more that propaganda displays. It is their job to brainwash the public, regardless of which political faction is controlling them.

The political agenda, IMO, reflects the board.

. . . when the board changes, so will the agenda of the institution.

Dictators gonna dictate.
No, Museum directors are the ones that gonna dictate, as they always do.

You really buying that explanation?
There has been more than enough time to include Trumps two impeachments as part of the permanent display.

It isn't an explanation, it is a fact.
You tell me - why did someone at the Smithsonian decide to go to a display that has NOT been updated in 17 years, nothing - but oh wait - let's put up a huge display about Trumps impeachment. Nothing else. No background. Just that.

Bullshit. It was OBVIOUSLY put there by some Trump hating zealots, and now that worm is turning - they took it down.

Because there were no significant changes in the other content relating to Johnson, Nixon or Clinton

Trumps two impeachments are significant content
