I guess if you think that 32,000 gun deaths are enough for the price of "Freedom", um, yeah.
I sit not 50 feet from where a neighbor took his own life with a gun because he never should have had one to start with.
It seems you are saying guns are responsible for your neighbor's suicide.
Presuming your neighbor was an adult, I respectfully suggest he used a gun to end his life because voluntary and assisted euthanasia is prohibited by our excessively authoritarian society. If a quiet, peaceful, painless and dignified means of terminating one's life were available to him, as there certainly should be, he would not have chosen the violent, painful, unpleasant alternative of using a gun.
There are many thousands of suicides in America each year, every one of which is effected in some comparatively painful manner, some of which are frighteningly violent, most of which leave behind an unpleasant result for others to deal with. This need not and should not be.
