And the expression "Völkermord" (genocide) was the first time in history used from a German poet of the 19th century on reason to criticize Prussia and specially in case of the brutal behavior of the Russians in their part of Poland. The Russains had been much more terrible than the Prussians. They tried to eliminate the Poles.

One reason why many Germans hated displaced Germans in the short days of history after World War 2 was it that many of them got exorbitant high compensations from the German taxpayers - some think: specially if they had been Nazis - while their own lifes also had been destroyed and they got nothing from no one but had to pay the price for Hitlers crimes although they never had been Nazis.
