"Freedom" and "cities" are oxymorons. The Founders put their faith in the self-reliant Yankee farmer to be the best citizen of a democracy.

The Founders distrusted the population centers - the cities which in those days were Philadelphia and NY with Philly the biggest, as nests of corruption where the financial elites could buy the masses, just like now. If not welfare it would be something else. They saw the virtuous yoeman farmer standing on his acre of land with his gun as the best guarantor of freedom, especially if he could read. That is why they create the Electoral College. It favors rural America in choosing a president not as a byproduct of its design. It is precisely the design.

Makes me think my friends who say Trump is ultimate Deep State plant are right - Agenda 47 it's called.

The Founders were not monolithic in their thinking. Republicans Jefferson and Madison mistakenly envisaged a nation of farmers, with slaves doing the hard labor.

Jefferson feared the Federalists were setting up a federal government with inherited offices, which is pretty fucking ironic considering his own wealth and slaves were inherited.

Jefferson was dead wrong.

The South of Jefferson and Madison was as close to an aristocracy as we've ever had.

On the other hand, the Federalists, and particularly Alexander Hamilton, had the vision to see we could become an economic powerhouse, and Hamilton worked diligently to set up a financial system to make that happen. The amount of work Hamilton achieved was astounding.

Jefferson and Madison could feel the power shifting North, and this pissed them off, and it clouded their vision.

The South, with their backward thinking and the laziness which is instilled in slaveholders, did not experience the industrial revolution, which later led to their massive loss in the Civil War.

He has come out against vaccine mandates and CBDC both, which are crucial parts of the chine-style control system they want to import here. But supporting smart cities (freedom cities LOL) is a deal breaker. Herding us all into digital prison cities where we can be watched and controlled 24/7 is the ultimte wet dream of the globalists.
