I've taken a stand against all kinds of stuff. I've eliminated all Anheiser Busch products (Bud Lite), I've given up PBS, Fox News, cable TV, EV cars, and a whole host of other things. As far as the NFL, I've stopped going to games and buying any NFL products. The problem is that I'm just one person, everyone has to do their own thing. And remember, Jimmy Kibbel showed us that even losing money, progs will still just keep going on doing what they do, even if it costs them money.
You speak of Rinos in Washington. I do not concede a things. When is the last time you picked up a phone and bitched to your congressman???
No, the young tend to lean left because most young grow up in left-leaning big cities, and victimhood and free stuff make sense when you are young. Turning into a conservative usually takes time, experience, and education, after you've lived long enough to really understand what is important, what really works, and to value it.
- Being young and liberal is an egocentric position of me!, me!, me!
- Being older, experienced and conservative is more a position of self-sacrifice for the greater good.
