I'm not talking about carpet bombing the whole countries. Just surgical strikes against the financial institutions financing this war.
Wouldn't be a long flight for the bombers. Several of the Putin funders are NATO members, close enough that you would think they would be allies of Ukraine, not Russia. But they continue to fund Russia's war against Ukraine, even while pretending outrage over it.
Go figure! Europeans never have made any sense to me.

"China and India are the primary funders of the ongoing war by continuing to purchase Russian oil," he said. "But inexcusably, even NATO countries have not cut off much Russian energy and Russian energy products, which, as you know, I found out about two weeks ago, and I wasn't happy."
European nations have drastically cut their reliance on Moscow’s oil following Russian President Vladimir Putin’s February 2022 invasion of Ukraine, though they have not cut it off entirely.
Hungary, Slovakia, France, Belgium and Spain remain Europe’s top importers of Russian energy.
While Hungary and Slovakia continue to purchase Russian oil, France is the second-largest European purchaser of Russian energy and continues to import liquefied natural gas (LNG).
Belgium, Jesus.
Three point five questions about my idea to bomb the banks:
1) Would it be effective?
2) Would it be wrong in some way? 2.5) If so, by what moral principle?
3) Would there be a moral difference between Ukraine bombing those banks and a country allied to Ukraine bombing those banks?

Trump mocks NATO allies for 'funding the war against themselves' with Russian energy purchases
President Donald Trump criticizes NATO countries for continuing Russian energy purchases, saying China and India are primary funders of the ongoing war.
