Should the US declare war with Mexico over border crisis?

Mexico has become a shell of a country where cartels run the country, aiding the invasion, and shipping in massive quantities of fentyal killing thousands of American's, and targeting our children....

So, the question is as the OP title asks, should we declare war on Mexico, not to invade them, but to use troops to seal our southern border...It is not unprecedented....

And furthermore, I believe that President Biden is in a clear dereliction of duty, if not outright collusion with Cartels to transfer as many Southern American migrants illegally into the United States as possible, ignoring laws, and the will, and safety of American's...

Any action by the US is already too late. The war is already over and the far left has won. One of the problems is the government is controlled by the cartels because they are helpless against them. I think instead of a war with Mexico, we need to have a war with the cartels if the government sides with us. That would mean air strikes on all their known facilities and even troops on the ground where they may lurk. It would be a virtual takeover of the country by US troops and if we can't beat them, weaken them enough where the government could once again handle the cartels with greater force.

I'm more concerned about the drug problem in this country. Yes, that includes border crossers as they repay the drug lords for all their services. But they are sneaking in drugs at alarming rates because Mexico won't do anything about it, and neither will we. That's why our military needs to launch a war against the drug lords themselves.
