Should the parents of unvaccinated kids in S. Texas who have contracted the measles..............

Measles doesn't have a 30% death rate. That would put it on par with the bubonic plague. There's no where in that link that says anything close to that.

Actually, it was the health system lying to everyone during the COVID pandemic that got us here.
Such a foolish statement.

Viruses are not bigoted, dufuss.
Making ethnically based assumptions about who/what is responsible for the outbreak is though.

Today, Hardy’s group and others in the vaccine hesitancy or anti-vaccine space have the ears of state lawmakers, especially on the heels of Texans for Vaccine Choice’s successful push back on mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations in the workplace in 2023.

While most of the vaccine bills 10 years ago were filed by Democrats to strengthen vaccine use, the opposite is now true — Republicans are filing most of the bills which aim to claw back vaccine requirements. There is even a House joint resolution proposing an amendment to the Texas Constitution that would preserve Texans’ right to refuse a vaccination.

The proposal is among more than 20 bills endorsed by Hardy’s group that have been filed, most of them before the legislative session began this month. Among them include legislation that would:

“TVC is not anti-vaccine,” Hardy said. “We’re not here to restrict anybody’s access to vaccines or to dismantle the vaccine program. So we do not take a stance on if children should get all, some or no vaccines.”

If you are legislator in TX you may not want to be standing beside a guy holding this sign when a constituent with a kid in the hospital with measles asks how you voted on weakening vaccine protocols.

Being all MAGA'd up for liberty isn't a great look when the bodies in bags start piling up. If that happens politicians won't be asking RFK to campaign with them in their districts.

I am not the one making accusations. I have nothing to prove.

You, OTOH...
I'm not accusing either. I'm merely adding 1+1. Which as we all see is beyond your ability.

Measles outbreak grows bigger in rural Texas, and officials expect more cases

At least 58 new cases of measles have been reported across northwest Texas in recent weeks, state health officials said Tuesday, in a "highly contagious" outbreak that might be linked to lack of vaccination.

A bulk of these new cases in rural northwest Texas are in Gaines County with 45 documented incidents of the disease, according to the Texas Department of State Health Services.

In the last three weeks, nine cases have come from Terry County, two from Yoakum County and one each from Lubbock and Lynn Counties, according to the state.

At least four patients had been vaccinated, but the "rest are unvaccinated, or their vaccination status is unknown," the health department said.

Most of the infections are in school-age kids, and 13 have been hospitalized.

More cases are expected.

...........be held responsible for unnecessarily putting their kid's health, and other kid's health, in jeopardy?

What about the HHS director if his anti-vaccine stance convinced some of those parents not to vaccinate their kids? Any responsibility there?
More than likely, illegals coming up through Mexico to Texas brought measles with them and yet you're blaming US parents. How about we stop the border invasion?

My daughter has the conventional measles vaccine so she has immunity.

Lower though right? And a huge contingent of the people crossing the Mexican border aint Mexican.....
US and Mexico have comparable vaccine rates... Some years Mexico is better, some years US is better...

Mexico is always better than West Texas...

You don't suddenly not get Measles because you are American.. MMR doesn't stop you getting it either but makes you able to deal with it a lot better and it leaves your system a quicker... Thus you are infectious for far less time, also not being hospitalised means you don't bring into hospital..

300m cross the boarder a year and many more to other countries... West Texas has very low vaccine rates That is reason they got an outbreak...

You are just trying to pin it on Jonny Foreigner...

You are fed this propaganda... It is up to you to be gullible or not...

From the article west Texas where the outbreak is has a 90% vax rate. Same as Mexico. But you know details.

More than likely, illegals coming up through Mexico to Texas brought measles with them and yet you're blaming US parents. How about we stop the border invasion?
That seems to be the consensus belief among MAGAists. No one has offered any proof. Meaning this belief has all the factual predicate of every other MAGAist belief. None you can provide.

JFC.

The whole point is that it doesn't affect just them.
Either the MMR vaccine works or it doesn't. If it works and you're vaccinated someone who's not vaccinated getting the Measles doesn't affect you or anyone else who's vaccinated. The only people at risk of getting the Measles are the people who have not gotten vaccinated and accepted that risk.

If your kid is in the hospital with the Measles then you made that choice. Why would you be mad a someone who allowed you to choose?

That cartoon is emblematic of how trump gets his base to hate so many people. It's class warfare 101.

I suspect if that were true every hate spewing right wing media outlet in the country would have it on their front page. I just haven't seen any data yet.

No.

My kid my choice.

Next topic.

Should the Biden administration...........be held responsible for unnecessarily putting their kid's health, and other kid's health, in jeopardy, by letting in illegal aliens with measles?
