I think you are wrong, the board is not more racist, there are just a few racists that post prolifically. The general board tends to ignore them, as do I, because no one wants to read that crap. Obviously it's both/either. A current event happening in a medium. To the extent the "story" is a comment on the state of that medium it does fit Media. To my mind it's more a CE than a story about the medium but it has elements of both.

There are a lot of crap threads posted under Media IMO that don't belong there; simply because some talking head says something and it was broadcast on TV doesn't make it a story about that medium. We get a lot of that. In this case it's a legitimate entry but there is much overlap in the categories here. Any new event that happens in politics is automatically both Politics and CE. It could certainly be other things as well.

Of course, Gracie isn't telling the entire story. We were discussing how Negro is an offensive term when used by racists...so she proceeded to call me a Negro because the word doesn't bother her.
