Should the 1 million Jews expelled from Arab countries be allowed to return or compensated for their stolen land?

There is a lot of hand-wringing over the Palestinians, and worries they will not be allowed to return to “their” land - which is the land Israel won when the Arabs attacked in 1967, aiming to destroy the Jewish State and her Jews.

But yet again, we see a double standard where Jews are concerned. What about all the surrounding Arab countries that had thriving Jewish communities, and that expelled nearly 1 million Jews from their homes, stealing their land and property?

Let’s take one example. Egypt, just a few years before the ‘67 war, issued an edict that every Jew must vacate their home - and were given 24 hours notice to do so. Even more, the Jews were forced to sign contracts deeding their land and all their assets to the Arabs.

The question is: why the double standard? Why no animosity toward Arabs who did worse to Jews?

That’s why I posed it as a choice: they either get to return to their land or br compensated for the theft of it.

We should start with Egypt. They forced the Jews to leave, allowing them a single suitcase, and demanded they deed over their land to the Muslims. They were given 24 hours notice, and told unless they left, they would be placed in concentration camps.

Let’s make Egypt either 1) pay the 1 million Jewish Israeli descendants for the land they stole from their grandparents, OR 2) take in the Palestinians and cede Gaza to Israel. That seems fair.

The Gazans occupy that land at Israel's discretion. No matter though how; the land is apparently the Gazans. They are the ones who hold it.

Whether it’s theirs or not, if I give you something and you abuse that thing and use it to cause me harm, well don’t be surprised if I take that thing back.

We gave them Gaza in 2005. All of it. Every last inch.

They could have had their Palestinian state. They chose to turn it into hell and put whatever innocent people are left there (like the ones in the photo below. “Innocent” Gazans) in harm’s way. They abused what we gave them and now they will pay the price.

The Republicans are siding with Israel and, at the minimum, aren’t pressuring them to abandon the goal of destroying HAMAS.

Biden, otoh, threatened to withhold delivery of some big military equipment if Israel went into Raffah - the stronghold of HAMAS - and Kamala dissed Bibi bigtime because the Dems side with Muslims.

Obviously, Israel isn’t going to allow a repeat of Oct 7, and as long as the Palestinians are there, there’s a chance. Trump knows that if Israel kicks out its enemy, the world’s antisemites will ramp up their hate even more, and then…..who knows?

Instead, Trump - with his brilliant vision - wants to avoid that, and thus he suggests that the U.S. take over, and turn it into a resort area. My goal is to visit in 15 years.
