Should the 1 million Jews expelled from Arab countries be allowed to return or compensated for their stolen land?

There is a lot of hand-wringing over the Palestinians, and worries they will not be allowed to return to “their” land - which is the land Israel won when the Arabs attacked in 1967, aiming to destroy the Jewish State and her Jews.

But yet again, we see a double standard where Jews are concerned. What about all the surrounding Arab countries that had thriving Jewish communities, and that expelled nearly 1 million Jews from their homes, stealing their land and property?

Let’s take one example. Egypt, just a few years before the ‘67 war, issued an edict that every Jew must vacate their home - and were given 24 hours notice to do so. Even more, the Jews were forced to sign contracts deeding their land and all their assets to the Arabs.

The question is: why the double standard? Why no animosity toward Arabs who did worse to Jews?

Great question.
Though, the Jews wouldn't want to, as most Arabs are racists against Jews (which is the core of the M.E. conflict). But the right should be given, nevertheless.

That’s why I posed it as a choice: they either get to return to their land or br compensated for the theft of it.

We should start with Egypt. They forced the Jews to leave, allowing them a single suitcase, and demanded they deed over their land to the Muslims. They were given 24 hours notice, and told unless they left, they would be placed in concentration camps.

Let’s make Egypt either 1) pay the 1 million Jewish Israeli descendants for the land they stole from their grandparents, OR 2) take in the Palestinians and cede Gaza to Israel. That seems fair.

P.S. Anyone here know that Grant tried the same thing with American Jews? On the eve of the Emancipation Proclamation, he issued an edict demanding all Jews in his territory vacate within 24 hours. Lincoln got word of it, and stopped it.

All that can be known is that Bibi is the embodiment of evil, as is Trump.

That is all the media talks about, as well as academia

Meanwhile, if you ask anyone with half a brain which country they would rather live in the Middle East, whether it be any Islamic hell hole or Israel, most everyone would say Israel, especially if you are a woman or a gay person.

Apparently, everyone prefers living under the most despotic and corrupt ruler in human history, that is Bibi Bibi.

Hilarious.

Living in Israel is so good, all the Muslims seem to want to live there as well.

Those on the Left don't have enough brain function to assess this seeming contradiction, however.

Meh.

Jew haters are a dime a dozen, he is nothing special as they pretend to only hate Bibi and Zionism.
They think by calling Jews “Zionists” they’re fooling people.

Seems to me that the OP is overplaying her hand even asking the question of US Citizens.....I don't care about the issue at all (if it's even a real issue) but it's something that the Jews and Arabs would have to work out between them. The US does not even enter into it.
Of course it does. American Jews have been subjected to a horrific rise in antisemitism here due to the leftists’ one-sided approach. It’s so bad that a friend of mine had to pull her son out of his liberal public high school mid-year. And it’s all over the high schools in this area.

it is critical that Jews point out and object to the double standards being used by antisemites.

Oh BS, you live in an area with the 7th highest concentration of Muslims in the US.

Are you feeling repressed?

I believe the point isn't to draw the US citizens into anything specifically, but to show unaffiliated people that there is an objectively skewed double standard being applied. It is exactly that you don't care that makes telling you (and others in your situation) so important. If, without caring, objective voices can speak up and say "yeah, that doesn't make sense" maybe people will start to accept that the situation is unacceptable.

You don’t think that’s why the Jewish kids are being bullied and assaulted in the schools here? The Muslim and liberal influence.

That poster is downplaying the obvious rise in antisemitism in this country, almost mocking me for bringing it up.

The real refugees were and are Jews.

Does anyone doubt that antisemitism today is mostly pushed by Arab Muslims with or w/o masks???

Such as (1) in Muslim countries (w/o even counting Pakistan & Syria),

ADL antisemitism global survey shows Muslim countries are still the most antisemitic - and getting worse
and

(2) incitement by Islamic groups in non-Muslim countries have also contributed. Such as the SJP and other Muslim Brotherhood linked "activists" -- the core of "protests."

And Germans, for instance, just as they distanced themselves from WW2 evil, came the 1 Million Arab immigrants influx. The post-war efforts to “come to terms with the Nazi past” and to reject the legacy of antisemitism represent one of the main features of modern Germany’s path toward liberal democracy. Yet precisely this German refusal of antisemitism has become a point of conflict with Muslim immigration and assimilation. Many immigrants arrive from countries where antisemitic attitudes are widespread, and these attitudes have fueled some of the anti-Israel protests in Germany.

And: Antisemitism Among Muslim Migrants Unsettles a Germany Haunted by the Holocaust.

Let's not forget what areas, the highest percentage of Hitler admiration has been at, in the last decades. No one is born a racist. It's all about education (one look at their textbooks or/and ar memri.org, palwatch.org how they groom the young, shows what the M.E. conflict is really about).

And yet, when I’ve brought up the antisemitism prevalent in Muslim countries, I can count on a leftist to call me a bigot.

We are just supposed to accept the rise in antisemitism quietly, and if we dare speak up against it, we are either called racists or simply mocked.

Calling out jihado fascism is natural, productive and positive.
