I'm just wondering how many Christians go to Church (or what they call such) every Sunday, without fail, or do you just go sporadically, when you feel like it... and why?

Wow, it looks like 50% of posters here go to Mass on Sunday!

LOL

just clowning... I know for a fact that is FAR from true... sadly

i do not attend church, because i feel organized religion is too political & incorporate their own doctrine that is all too often removed from what religion & spirituality is meant to be.

My presence at church no matter the congregation always seems to be a distraction. People always seem to have a ''negative feel towards me. I enjoyed going to church and volunteering to help those members in need but all I got was negative feed back so I do my church duties online. But I am always available if a pastor needs me.:)

( I have been told by more than one Pastor that I belong behind the Pulpit not in the Pews.)

The word Sabbath means faithful daughter, very much like BathSheba.
No where in Christ's or any His Prophets words was "Honor the Seventh Day" abolished.
The Messiah, said that not one little bit of His Law passes away till all is fulfilled. Math 5:18
If all is fulfilled, does that mean game over?
He also said, Mathew 5:17 "Do not think that Iam come to destroy the Law, or the prophets. Iam not come to destroy, but to fulfill."

This seems contradictory. You say people have a negative feel toward you but then say your pastor is supportive..

also wondering which denom you are in

This may be one of those "valid conclusion but false premise" things...

You start out w/ the wrong premise because nowhere in Scripture does it say that the Jewish sabbath should always be kept and never changed, even because of some major event like Jesus rising from the dead, which happened on

SUNDAY

and that is why the Catholic Church changed Church day to Sunday

No demon, I grew up in a different environment than most. So I seem different to some folks I guess.
All pastors I have met have always been supportive.
Maybe the demon is with other members the demon of envy and suspicion.
denom demon my dyslexia kicking in. :)

The Catholic Church says it is an OBLIGATION to attend Mass on Sunday unless you cannot because you are ill or taking care of someone who is ill or have some other situation that keeps you from doing so.

I'm very glad for this because in the old days before I actually wanted to attend Mass, I was neglectful about going. But once I found out it was required, I began attending every Sunday and then I began going every day of the week, and I began to learn Scripture, acquired a desire to read the entire Bible, and many other blessings.

Not having a choice is not the end of the world.... Sorry, America, land of Choice..

(not all freedom is good...)

no demon? You have no demon?

Well, you are blessed... LOL

(I know you meant No denom...)

So far more people answered #1 than any other option

Sorry but this explains why we have a moral problem in this country...

People need to hear the Word of God often, even more than once a week. There would be far fewer shootings and other disasters if they did. Also, they need to be in the Presence of Christ, which happens at every Mass. We are very fallen creatures... just very fallen. And only Jesus knows what to do with that condition...

the poster said denom ... as on denomination.

You started with "church" and then in reply 3 and 4 it changed to "mass". I don't go to any meeting called, "mass".
