Palestinian attackers opened fire on people at a bus stop at during the morning rush hour in Jerusalem on Monday, killing six people and wounding another 12, according to Israeli officials.

An Israeli soldier and civilians who were at the scene shot and killed the two attackers, police said. The windshield of a bus was riddled with bullet holes and belongings were scattered across the street.

Footage of the attack showed dozens of people fleeing from a bus stop at the busy intersection at the northern entrance to Jerusalem, on a road that leads to Jewish settlements located in east Jerusalem. Paramedics who responded to the scene said the area was chaotic and covered in broken glass, with people wounded and lying unconscious on the road and a sidewalk near the bus stop.

Palestinians and Israelis each commit terrorism in Palestine and this has been the case since even before 1948, this is normal for the region. The problems could be solved but the international will to do so is absent.

It's a tough neighbourhood to live in. It's why the Mossad have a reputation for being ruthless but also reckless. If they could get rid of the reckless aspect of their reputation they would do far better for Israel in my opinion.

There is no question though, I fully understand their obligation to operate in the manner they do. They are surrounded by enemies who would be inherently more ruthless if the tables were turned. Such terror attacks are a constant reminder.
