You're confused. Yes, people who post bail are more likely to show up but for a drug dealer like Scarface, that bail isn't going to be a problem and if he loses it, so what?

Free to keep killing people? I thought they were drug dealers not murderers. And relax. We will pick them up later. We'll get them. And now they will spend even longer in prison for not showing up. They did us a favor. It would have been 10 years out in 5. Now it will be 15 out in 10. You should be happy they didn't show up. Adds to their sentence.

Okay well they weren't dangerous. Or the crimes they committed weren't violent ones. That's one. Two, they probably fled the country. That's wonderful. We won't see them back again. And if we do,we will lock them up. Better they leave the country than we pay to house and feed them for 15 years. Right?
