Godfathers wasnt on my radar..............................................

i grew up in a town that was predominately italian......

there were so many "mom & pop" intalian resturants and pizza houses that i rarely ever ate chain pizza......

I grew up in a town that was predominately Irish, so there weren't enough Italian-American pizza shops. But when I moved, I found the Italian shop I craved (I could also practice my Italian with the guy). But as a kid, I did like Pizza Hut. I never had Shakeys till I went to Japan. I've never seen a Godfathers.

Kind of in the wrong section of the board don't ya think?

I remember Shakeys from when I was a kid. I thought they did not exist any more. God Fathers was ok, but meh. And I dont like pizza hut much, but the pasta is ok.

Shakey's was my favorite when I was younger too. But that was topped in grand fashion by Godfathers in Las Vegas. Best pie I've ever had, bar none. The toppings were just HEAPED on, and it had tons of cheese. Two pieces and you'd be stuffed. Had a Godfathers pizza years later in Reno and it sucked. Skinny little anemic looking thing with hardly anything on it. Don't know why the huge difference, but there was. Could it have been Cain's doing?
