Multiple police officers have been shot in Pennsylvania as cops have warned the public of a 'very active scene'. The officers were shot in North Codorus on Wednesday during an unknown incident, Ted Czech, public information officer for the York County Office of Emergency Management/York County 911, told Evening Sun. The first 911 call came in at 2.10pm. Two officers were taken to the hospital as several were seen being loaded onto a MedEvac helicopter. Three officers are at the scene with injuries. Meanwhile, Spring Grove School District is having all schools in the area shelter in place. The district made it clear that the officer-involved situation is not related to students or schools. Wellspan Hospital is also on lockdown, the facility told CBS 21. The Daily Mail contacted the Pennsylvania State Police for comment. Governor Josh Shapiro issues a statement on social media, stating: 'I've been briefed on the situation involving law enforcement in York County, and am on my way there now.

Not that I am aware of. There are large Puerto Rican communities in York and Lancaster. But they’re all citizens.
