She was not just standing around.
She was climbing through a smashed and broken (moments earlier) door window to the Speaker's Lobby, just feet away from the House of Representative s chamber, where the vice president and senators and congress critters had been gathered....some had not been evacuated yet.
All other windows broken in the building by rioters were used by one or two rioters to get inside the capitol and unlock the doors for the mob that was behind them to swarm in, as they did.
As her purpose to climb through the broken door window, was to do the same....clear the door, then unlock the doors to let the rest of the mob in.
Two points...no one dies from a bullet wound to the shoulder.
It's never happened, to my knowledge and I was a US Hospital Corpsman during the Viet Nam war
in our biggest base in the Pacific (Subic Bay, Philippines).
Two...You can look at the video, as I have, and look to see what Ashli Babbitt did once inside the actual
Capitol itself. She stood hands on hips surveying the sights around her. Period.
If two or more cops were afraid she would open the doors and let others in behind her they had the numbers and the guns and the authority to stop and arrest her at that point.
They didn't do that, however.
They murdered her in cold blood instead, not even giving her the option to surrender.
It was a clear case of a cowardly ambush murder and you and some others don't even have the decency to
decline to defend this sudden brutal
homicide, which is what the medical examiner called the
incident. Homicide!
And some government entity whitewashed the whole affair and the cowards in the press
simply put a lid on the matter.
A politically motivated murder and the killer is still being shielded in one of the most despicable
and contemptible actions ever taken by our gutless politicians.
