That's right, the "Freedom Socialist Party" run out of an apartment in downtown Seattle has marched, stamped their feet, and screamed at capitalist pigs to raise the minimum wage to $20 an hour. But a little noticed help wanted ad on their site for a web developer only offered $13.

Oh, and a work week of 30 hours without a cut in pay and a guaranteed income. But their future web-developer will sadly only get a 20 hour week, must be bilingual and can't work from home.

Seattle ranked #2 among global cities for economic development

According to a new report from the University of Toronto’s Martin Prosperity Institute, Seattle is the second-best performing urban area in the world for economic development.

Researchers scored 61 global cities on a wide range of criteria which were divided into four categories: talent, technology, tolerance, and quality of place. Seattle was one of just eight cities to receive an A grade, and our overall score of 87.5 was second only to Ottawa-Gatineau, Canada.

Seattle scored best in the technology and quality of place categories, receiving an A+ grade overall for both. Our worst category was tolerance, with a B+ overall grade — while we aced civil rights, we got dinged with a C in religious diversity.

I put my own website together and I don't know jack about it. There are online tools these days so it is just drag and drop. Not super fancy but it could be. How fancy does a socialist website need to be anyway?

There is wordpress, wix, webs, drupal, shopify, and a lot more that are easy to use. So no excuse these days. I don't get why they need a complex site for alleged community activism either.
