There’s real panic in Schumerland as the democrat politburo mouthpieces of NPR and PBS are losing funding.

Schumer is relegated to the leftist slogan, millions will die™ as he sees those propaganda outlets losing taxpayer dollars.

If you're not already convinced that there's no low to which Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) won't stoop as he misconstrues (lies about) all things President Donald Trump and the Republican Party, his latest little song and dance routine should do the trick.

Oh, so Trump is Thanos now.

It appears that Schumer doesn't know how Public Broadcasting works, how the EBS works or who usually originates the warnings -

Dear Chuck Schumer:

Poor people don't give a flying **** about PBS and NPR, they have cable TV and internet. PBS and NPR is for rich liberal elitists who sit around all day and ***** about how "Poor people don't have cable TV and internet."

Now go **** yourself with a rusty AIDS-infected cactus.

Damn, another morning another Mike Miller bullshit article. Collins and Murkowski both voted against the bill and for just the reason Schumer was referencing. Matter of fact, just a few hours before the vote Murkowski got an alert through PBS's WARN system, a back-up system, to Wireless Emergency Alerts, about a possible earthquake in Alaska.

I am alerted about flash floods, tornados, and violent thunder storms through the WARN system before I get any other warnings from any other source including the EBS.

Schumer is finally right about something. Yes, it is a matter of life or death. It's just yet another nail in the coffin of democrats and their DEI wokeness. Hallelujah!

The ignorance in this thread is absolutely mind boggling. 37% of people in North Carolina that make less than twenty grand a year have no internet access. I doubt they have cable TV. During Helene Western North Carolina was absolutely dependent on PBS. For days, they were the only news source on the ground and they provided vital information concerning available assistance, food and water drop-off sites, and contacting emergency response teams

North Carolina has the largest rural population in the country, other than Texas. The service area covered by Blue Ridge Public Radio, which can be seen here,

Is sparsely populated, mountainous, with limited access in some areas that are still being affected by Helene storm damage.

This is almost as bad as the Democrats' insistence that black people are too stupid to obtain a photo ID.

Your sides fault.
They have been warned and threatened for years to stop their egregious one sided news coverage.
They refused.
They are paying the price for not changing.
Your fault

Without NPR, PBS, and USAID the tax payers are no longer funding the DNC, and they know liberals are a bunch of cheap bastards who will not donate their own money to any of those causes.
More ignorance, in North Carolina government funding accounts for something like 7% to 22% of a member stations budget. The vast majority of their funding comes from donations.

The truth is not one sided. Perhaps MTG should have been listening to NPR, then she might have actually known what was in the big, beautiful, bill, that she voted for.

Then what are you bitching about? Looks like they should have no problem getting more liberals to give up their money

Damn, another flaming leftist who is suffering from hurt feelings.

Oh, they won't. The Walton Family Foundation, The George MacArthur foundation. Those places will kick in to fill the gap, the work NPR does is that important to those foundations, and others. Which means they won't be contributing in other areas.
