Social media critics blasted American Federation of Teachers President Randi Weingarten for taking a trip to Ukraine when so many students in the United States are struggling.

Why are school board union members in the US going to the Ukraine to assess the situation as US schools are falling apart?
American Federation of Teachers (AFT) President Randi Weingarten faced criticism from some on social media for taking a trip to Ukraine while many U.S. schools are floundering.
"Woke up this am to reports of disgusting Russian missile strikes in Kyiv, Lviv & other cities," Weingarten tweeted Monday morning. "Heading to the border now to assess the situation. This Russian attempt to frighten civilians & the effect on children (who are learning online today) is why this [Ukraine flag emoji] trip is so important."
Here is an idea. How about assessing the effects of children in the US being forced to wear masks in terms of their social development? How about assessing the effects on children in terms of closing down schools for a Pandemic that does not really effect children? How about assessing how the new gender curriculum has led to a 4000% increase in gender confusion in schools all across the US? How about commenting on the fact that the FBI is now hot on the trail of parents for objecting to race curriculum that teaches children that they are either a victim or a victimizer based on the pigmentation of their skin?
And think of all those carbon emissions for the plane ride to the Ukraine.
Is it November yet?
