There are criminals and then there are dangerous, unhinged and unpredictable criminals. He should not be eligible for parole for 25-30 years. The next victim could be a child.

This is sad. She did not deserve this, but it is what you can get, taking a walk, alone in a park at night and unarmed. If armed (Yes, Georgia is a constitutional carry state) and somebody dumps a bucket batter acid on you, you will still have time to draw and empty your weapon into the SOB at close range. You will still be in the hospital, but instead of Be On The Lookout for the perp in the area, the perp's family can be looking up low priced embalming and funeral services in the area for area. Not a jury in Chatham county would ever convict you, as it is a stand your ground state.
