I can imagine how many people are happy to be able to leave these Muslim countries so that they are free to be themselves. There are articles by former Muslims saying that they have dropped out but don't tell their family and friends, plus there are the same percentage of Gay people in every group under the sun, including Muslims, no matter how much they deny it.

Saudi Arabia to confront ‘cultural war’ on social media

Manama: Saudi Arabia is looking amending its anti-cybercrime law to allow legal proceedings against sites and networks that promote alleged sexual depravation, prostitution and atheism and target the Saudi society, according to reports.

Consultative Council Member Fayez Al Shehri told London-based Al Hayat that there are 25,000 accounts dedicated to homosexuality and child prostitution and 4,500 accounts devoted to promoting atheism that are targeting Saudis directly.

Islamist sharia is the ultimate theocratic totalitarianism. It's a complete, top-down, obsessive-compulsive consumption of all aspects of society and the individual, whose needs and wants are subsumed by the overarching program of ever-expanding submission to the leader. God is the leader, and violence and murder keep the "peace." Sharia is the universal implementation of brutal seventh century politico-religious laws in the modern age.

The most basic rule of human sociality is non-zero-sum: no free lunch, scratch my back and I'll scratch yours, reciprocity. This is because a society made up of cheaters will (obviously) become fraught with suspicion, distrust, and peril, and will eventually fall apart. So we come to a consensus, a social contract that we all agree to live by under threat of punishment (also agreed upon by the group), and voilà—law, order, and stability. This is the template upon which all patterns of human society are formed. Here in the West, we've progressed through theocratic totalitarianism to liberal democracy.

Thank goodness.

Good for Saudi Arabia!! ......

Good for convert wannabes who exploit the benefits of Western liberal democracies and aren't subjected to the horrors of theocratic totalitarianism.

How strange that convert wannabes choose to live in the Great Satan rather than their islamist utopias.

Is there no strength of conviction among convert wannabes?

True story.......
