The University of Texas at San Antonio has banned the 'Come and Take It' chant from athletics events after an online petition denouncing it garnered hundreds of signatures.

This stupid lady should be a community organizer, not a professor. 'Come and take it' is more like a defiant, strong willed Texas attitude than anything else. But if you've been to San Antonio lately, it looks like they did 'come and take it'. I wonder if this (professor ?) celebrates the Alamo massacre as well?
