Is coming to MN in 2029. Have no idea how much they cost but they are building a list of people interested in tickets. Wife wouldn't go I know that and watching alone ain't for me....but still it would be something to remember

I would just as soon watch insects copulate as to watch a game of golf, but that's just me.

Grand Dad loved golf, guess that's where I got it
Many people do, and I know that. It might be just sour grapes, on my part. Some sports I have been decent at, while others, mediocre. The times I tried golf (except Putt-Putt) I never got up, to approaching mediocre, as I truly sucked. On the driving range, I was like that scene from Tin Cup, a possible danger to the folks down the lanes. I gave by graphite clubs, bag and balls to my son and threw my shoes away. As a sales rep, I sponsored tournaments, for contractors, but did not compete, as I wanted to keep their business, with being thought of as a dipsh#t.:(

I'd much rather play golf than watch it, but the pro tournaments I've been to were very memorable. If you don't play golf you have no appreciation just how good pros are until you see and HEAR them hit a ball. Holy shit!

Go for it, dude. I have a lot of friends and acquaintances that love the game. You are safer out on the links without me around.

I don't care much for team golf so I haven't watched Ryder Cups much.

I liked it more in the old days, but in the last few matches it's gotten kind of ugly with the chants and the posturing of the players.
That's professional and college team sports in general now..

The ryder cyp seems to attract the worst sort of americans. Ny friend was going but the 700 dollar ticket prices put him off. Sort of begs the question where do the trash get the money to attend ?
