Royalty wars! The Guess Who should be renamed Guess Not

This is an interesting one. The Guess Who - the classic rock band from the 70's - is still around - but tours with no original members. Two of the original members - Burton Cummings and Randy Bachman - have been able to put a halt to the 2024 tour by getting legal injunctions against the band using any of the songs written by them. It's always about money. I will say it seems pretty ridiculous for the name Guess Who to still be getting used despite no original members touring, so maybe these guys have a good point.

I did a couple of gigs with Marshall Tucker Band headlining the bill but I don’t think Marshall or Tucker were present.
I saw a concert in the 1980’s that featured three Monkees and one Grass Root.
