Romney thinks Trump is the nominee because he wasn't scrutinized That is truly the worst assessment I have ever seen of this election and Donald Trump.

There is an interesting dynamic in this election that I don't think the democrats have figured out yet. Hillary signals contempt for people even when she is talking about helping them. Hillary comes across like she is saying poor people are bad; rich people are bad; business owners are bad....everybody is bad or at least lesser people. Trump can demonize Muslims and not alienate anybody who would have vote for him but also validate wide swaths of the public in the same sentence. Unless you are a Muslim or an illegal alien, a republican challenger or democratic nominee, then Trump really hasn't said anything much that should insult you personally. He loves poor people after all. Hillary talks to the poor from places the poor cannot access while wearing very expensive clothes. It is a very subtle but important difference in optics and backhanded messaging.
