William Barr was on TV last night saying that the Stone Trial was a righteous prosecution, of criminal behaviour by the accused and he agrees with the charges filed, and the verdict rendered by the Jury.

Roger Stone is an asshole who committed 7 felonies. He was indicted by a Grand Jury, he was represented by competent attorneys who knew well who the jury foreman was when the accepted her as a juror. They were not lied to or deceived in any way.

There will be no mistrail, and Roger Stone will be shipped off to jail at sentencing, in accordance with the law, and the sentencing guidlines.

The trial was in the District of Colombia. That's an automatic stacked jury.

There has to be a transcript of the trial. Stone's lawyers obviously will use it in preparing his appeal to point out flaws in the trial, citing portions of the transcript. Claims of bias against Stone are very premature. Let's see what his lawyers come up with.

If Stone's lawyers make a motion for a new trial, and the Trump DOJ doesn't object, there will be a new trial.

Or alternatively, President Trump can just give Stone a Pardon, no questions asked. Like he did with the tremendous veteran, Joe Arpaio, who was wrongfully convicted a few years ago. BTW, that worked out fine, Arpaio has not re-offended since his pardon
