This is hilariously inane. You‘re talking about comparing the weight of a 4500 lb car, not truck, with a 5-6000 lb car doing more damage to our roads and infrastructure. Meanwhile, they both share the same road with a plethora of long haul trucks which weight 80,000 to near 100,000 lbsWhy don't you tell us how that compares to ICE vehicles.... Since you are the one that keeps moving the goal posts on this thread about EV weight...
The actual topic was EV weight... Which your side got embarrassed on because of the weak arguments.
What is pretty stupid is the idea that you're a phony environmentalist if you're trying to lessen pollution/emissions but you can't be 100% clean.
If you're actually serious about reducing toxic waste then I'm sure you would love to support stronger environmental regulations on several industries.
This is a ridiculous thread. far and away, long haul trucks and HD trucks in general put the vast majority of wear on our roads. We even have to restrict their use to 30,000 oil delivery trucks in the spring in northern states….this is ridiculous fear mongering.
BTW, for fear mongers, we have so much delivery of everything by UPS and fedex trucks which literally go everywhere with out restrictions. Their weight is 10,000 to 12,000 lBS. And you’re worried about Fking Teslar s.
