I support gun ownwership. I feel training and safety instructions should be mandatory. I highly applaud the training offered by NRA to citizens and law enforcement. They do charge to train law enforcement certifies trainers, but that is OK. I would like to see expansion of training on all aspects of gun ownersip. The NRA was started to help US citizens with makmanship.

Look at what the NRA is spending money on. Training budget is not nearly as large as it should be. The money NRA executives spent on themselves is disgusting.

They spend the most money on lobbying to stop every gun regulation. Even gun regulations that law enforcement supports.
They help the gun manufacturers more than they help the gun users.
They have lost their way

State grass root .orgs (unaffected with the NRA), the SAF, and GOA is where the 2A rubber meets the road now.

Arms have been regulated since day on. Most arms in today's world have been banned from citizens. Guns are one of the last arms citizens can own. Machine guns have been banned in the last 75 years.
Common regulations for guns. Regulate to keep them out of the hands of those with mental problems and criminals. It will not be perfect but better.
You are not one of those nut cases that think with guns you can keep the government away if they come after you. I hope not.
If you are not a felon or mentally ill, you can own a gun. What are you worried about.
