I don't like Barton
But I think he was right. You have a right to voice your opinion at a town hall. You don't have a right to scream, yell and shout down other speakers
Being at a town hall is a right for people of all parties. But you should be expected to act civilly, wait your turn and speak respectfully
If you can't you should be escorted out
Act respectfully? You mean like when that pig yelled "you lie" in the middle of a presidential speech? Barton is a typical right winger. He wouldn't know appropriate behavior if it bit him.
Like I said, I have little respect for Joe (BP) Barton
But I do respect Town Halls as an exercise where the public can express their views to their representative.
For Town Halls to work, certain rules of civility need to be maintained. Today, these meetings are taken over by who can shout the loudest and who can be the most rude
If the guy was out of line (and he was), he deserves to be told to shut up
