A badass, from Texas naturally. Still walked for miles everyday to take care of his business.

Richard Overton, once America's oldest living WWII veteran, dies at 112

AUSTIN, Texas — Richard Overton, once the nation's oldest living World War II veteran, has died. He was 112.

Earlier this month, he was hospitalized with pneumonia. His family says he died from complications from the illness.

Overton was born in Bastrop County, Texas and was inducted into the U.S. military on September 3, 1940 at Fort Sam Houston, Texas.

We lose 370 WWII veterans a day according to the VA, soon the greatest generation will pass into the history books
