Richard Blumenthal(D-Conn.) says Republicans are enemies of communism

Sure IT SEEMS because that's the impression this tripe article wants to give.

But no he didn't say that, you are not quoting Blumenthal.

"Our opponents are trying to restrict Democracy. They are threatening the right to vote in state after state, congressional district after district all around the country, and the John Lewis Voting rights Act,” - Is what he said.
“our enemies” —-as in the enemies of the group he was speaking to, his group…the communist

What a POS.

"Senator Richard Blumenthal(D-Conn.) said he was “excited and proud” to help the Connecticut Communist Party celebrate the 102nd anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party USA over the weekend...

I am really excited and honored to be with you today and share in this remarkable occasion,” Blumenthal gushed after he was introduced...

Blumenthal told the attendees that the enemies of Communism (Republicans) are trying to “restrict Democracy.”

“Our opponents are trying to restrict Democracy. They are threatening the right to vote in state after state, congressional district after district all around the country, and the John Lewis Voting rights Act,” he complained. The senator called any restrictions on voting undemocratic, and vowed to fight against them."

I am an enemy of communism. Also, I respect the fact that our nation is a Republic. The shithead Senator apparently doesn’t grasp the distinction between republic and democracy.

Not sure why Communism in the US is being celebrated. Their mission is to transform the US out of Capitalism. I’m sure the Senator did his homework and realized he has a lot of leaning communists in his state.
He is a Communist sympathizer and I have sent copies of his speech to many news media and many Republicans.

The quote is in the article. Too much work to actually read it, I know.

I just read the enitre article. Only exerts from this speech were in it. The quote wasn’t taken out of context after all. He seemed genuinely exited and proud to be there. His comments fit right in with the Communist event even though he was speaking as a Democrat and didn’t know where he was. Go figure.

Well then you should be able to say which comments "fit right in with the Communist".

Do you maybe think defending voting rights is a Communist idea? Or did say something along the lines of nationalizing all means of production?

Hell no.

This is Blumenthal's clear refute of the suggestion that he somehow identifies with communists:

"Let me just say very emphatically, I’m a Democrat and a strong believer in American capitalism. I have been consistently a Democrat and a strong supporter and believer in American capitalism.”

He didn’t know they were Communist before he was invited but they sure as heck knew he was a Democrat and they support him to the extent that they wanted him to speak at their function. Haven’t you figured out why that is yet? The Democratic policies are more closely aligned with Socialism and Communism. It isn’t really a secret to anyone execept “mainstream” Democratic voters who continue to be bamboozled by the MSM and academia.

Well who's fault is it that defending voting rights is more closely aligned with Communists nowadays than Republicans?

they wanted him to speak because its a labor awards event, and democrats support workers. blumenthal reiterated his support for capitalism after conservative media pointed it out; looks like he didnt even know until then.
