I grew up in the 70's and I dont remember it. Once I heard it I recall hearing it before but that's it.

This is a good song, if you like old school country. If that's not your thing then you probably wont like the song. That said what he's singing about should resonate.

Yeah, this guy's from my neck of the woods, literally just a few miles from where I live. "North of Richmond" means NOVA, some of the bluest of the blue.
