Today's SEC Def confirmation hearing is an example of the current Democrat party.....and it's a shame.

The Democrats used to have principles and ideas they promoted....now it doesn't.

These principles and ideas framed every function of governance they promoted...where today they would be absolutely embarrassed by some of them....they held them and worked dilligently to promote them because they believed them to be true.

Today's hearing was about selling lies and the obstruction of anything Trump wants at all costs.

It's going to result in many Democrats receiving jail terms for their deeds after failing miserably to shift the minds of voters.

So....
Newsom, their hero, is out of support and is now facing a recall vote. That's going to be very ugly. No spin will win this one after allowing LA to burn.

Do Democrats of today even know what the Democrat's ideological ideals are? Would they understand them if told?

No, I don't think that the Democrats are completely correct....same as the Republican's ideals are not perfectly correct either.

But it used to be that BOTH parties had the same goal in mind. Making America the best nation. It wasn't power, it wasn't money, it was American success. Where is that ideal?

Democrats believe Economic success comes by the masses of our citizen people....instead of a few innovators creating products. IOW any product will sell and create jobs because people buy products....not because of demand....demand is because we have people.

Diplomacy is always needed for foreign policy over any armed aggression. When faced with armed aggression we need to determine how their animosity was caused by our actions and make reparations for their grievances. (Never fight)

Social agenda:
Whatever people are voicing at the moment....from Birth contraceptives to animal rights and environmental issues. (Especially if it hurts big businesses)

Parties change. Yes Lincoln was a Republicans but if he were alive today, he would have been a Democrat and southerners in red states would be arguing they need their slaves.

I love it that Trump has adopted our Democratic agenda

a. Fix the middle class
b. Kick illegals out who lower blue collar wages
c. Don't touch social security and medicare
d. Raise taxes on rich people.

Trump maintained that the cuts would benefit middle-class families and that the rich would actually end up paying more in taxes, because he would eliminate unspecified deductions and loopholes.
